Hi everyone, I have a few months left in my company before I retire …. and I would like to know about the options that I can consider for my retirement plan. I am taking about some real good investments so that I get my future secured (want it secured for the kids too). I have a few options that I can look up to like REI, mutual funds and stocks…..but need a bit of advice from you to make a better decision.

Apart form the ones that you have stated there are many more options…..but as far as I am concerned I would consider a wise investment in RE as that is one of the secured options that I know. That can be good for the future prospects too and will definitely give you a more secure investment than any other.

Stock, Mutual fund and Real estate – all are good investment options. I just want to suggest to take advice from experts before investment. However, as being the real buyers agent, I would prefer to go with real estate as it’s less risky than any other methods

Maybe you can go on for Real estate investing, stock most of the time the value per stock fluctuates sometimes higher then lower, mutual fund does not earned higher interest while in real estate you can do a lot of options from the properties you have acquired, like you can hold them, rent them or resell them at higher price, so there is no loss in REI.

I agree that real estate is the best investment option, and now is definitely the time to buy all over the country. The statistics don’t lie, and real estate has outperformed all other asset classes consistently over may years.
